Ascendance of a Bookworm (Honzuki no Gekokujou) has released a new trailer that features the voices of the cast. Yuka Iguchi voices Maine, Megumi Nakajima can be heard as Turi, Mutsumi Tamura as Lutz, Fumiko Orikasa as Eva, Tsuyoshi Koyama as Gunther, Satoshi Hino as Otto, Tomoaki Maeno as Mark, Takehito Koyasu as Benno, Aya Uchida as Frieda, and Sho Hayami as Ferdinand.
You can also hear the theme song ‘Masshiro’ by Sumire Morohoshi playing in the background. The series will start airing on 3 October 2019, 00:30 (JST).
On the day Urano Motosu’s biggest wish of landing a job in a library comes true, she dies. Her last thought is that she regrets not having read more books… When she wakes up again, she finds herself in another world as a young girl named Maine. The story is set in a city called Ehrenfest that reminds her of medieval times but is in fact in another world where nobles with magical powers control everything. In the strict hierarchic system of this world Maine works hard to get her hands on books.
