The live adaptation of Yuki Shiraishi’s manga Anoko no Toriko has released a new preview still.
In the picture, we see Ryo Yoshizawa as the hero Yori Suzuki and Yuko Araki as the heroine Shizuku during a date at the Enoshima Aquarium. The couple visits many date spots, such as the Enoshima Sea Candle, the Samuel Cocking Garden, and the Enoshima Shrine. Yoshizawa and Araki filmed these scenes on their own with a handheld camera.
The movie has also released a special map with the preview still, in which fans can see the date spots the two of them visited and go there themselves! It can be found on the official website of the movie, in Tokyo cinemas, Fujisawa, as well as in Enoshima.
Also, the series is collaborating with the Enoshima Aquarium. Visitors will be able to take a closer look at the costumes and props from the movie, as well as still cuts from the scene, during a limited exhibition at the aquarium. On top of this, a special video can be seen which includes comments of Yoshizawa and Araki. Last but not least, the aquarium will sell soft toys in the form of one of the key characters: the red panda. The collaboration starts on 1 September 2018.
Anoko no Toriko tells the story of three characters that promised to become actors when they were younger. This love story is set in the entertainment world. The movie will start screening all over Japan on 5 October 2018.
