Comico, the online manga reading app, released a key visual, a new trailer, and more cast and staff info on the anime adaptation of Netojuu no Susume (Recommendation of the Wonderful Virtual Life).
Comico is an online app for manga, which just recently surpassed the 25 million download mark! In 2016. It was voted second place after Weekly Shonen Jump as the ‘medium used most to read manga.’
The title tells the story of Moriko Morioka, a 30-years-old single NEET who gave up on an ordinary life and now lives through online games. She makes all her friends online and tries to cope with her worries as she takes small steps towards real change.
What is real life?
Netojuu no Susume will start airing this October. The key visual shows the heroine Moriko and the character she is playing, as well as another male character standing beside her, which hasn’t been introduced to us yet but we can only guess that he is playing the girl who works together with Moriko’s character in the online world.
The artists of the opening and ending theme will be Megumi Nakajima and Yuka Aisaka, respectively. The opening will be titled ‘Saturday Night Question’ and the ending is called ‘Hikari, Hikari’.
