The live action movie based on the shojo manga Ani ni Aisaresugite Komattemasu (My older brother loves me too much) revealed its new poster visual! The movie will be released in Japanese cinemas on 30 June 2017.
The original manga is drawn by Rina Yagami and has so far released 4 volumes along with a special ‘Volume 4.5.’ It has a total circulation of 500,000 copies. The story has a broad fanbase from teens until people in their 20s. The manga will also get a TV series, starting on 12 April 2017.
The poster has a colorful design and features the words ‘Who will be the prince to catch me?’ In the middle of the poster we see Tao Tsuchiya, who plays the heroine Setoka Tachibana, and around her are plenty of good-looking boys and her brother. Right next to her stands Haruka, her brother. They are not blood-related and he is portrayed by Ryouta Katayose. On her other side is the prince-like Takane Serikawa, played by Yuudai Chiba. In the background we can see Takuya Kusakawa (as Chiaki Mioka) and Yousuke Sugino (as Kunimitsu Serikawa) launching an attack on Setoka.
The main point behind the poster is to show the 12 love confessions Setoka has attempted to make, all of which went wrong because of the intervention of her brother. One of them was to Suzuki-kun (played by Fuju Kamio) and he, as well as the others, is a unique kind of ikemen.
Ani ni Aisaresugite Komattemasu tells the story of Setoka Tachibana and how she suddenly became very popular after 12 failed love confessions. Suddenly there is her unrelated older brother Haruka, the dreamy classmate Takane Serikawa and Takane’s older brother, aspiring doctor and armed with a poisonous tongue, Kunimitsu Serikawa. So many handsome guys in one place…
The TV series starts in April while the movie will be released in June. Both have the same cast.
