The MANGA.TOKYO staff had its share of summer. Now, all we wish is for the hot and humid weather to go away and give its place to the red and cool autumn.
Ancien and the Magic Tablet (Hirune Hime: Shiranai Watashi no Monogatari) by Kenji Kamiyama (Eden of the East, Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) will be released on 13 September 2017 on Blu-ray and DVD in Japan!
The jacket of the special edition Blu-ray will get a brand new illustration that shows Kokone flying through the sky on her vehicle. Those who buy the Blu-ray special edition will also get a special A3 poster!
The production will also hold a release party somewhere in September.
Some overseas fans can also look forward to the release, as director Kamiyama announced at the Shanghai International Film Festival on 18 June that it has been decided to distribute the movie not only in China, but in 45 different countries all over the world! MANGA.TOKYO will let you know of the country list as soon as we find out.
