The A Certain Magical Index series by Kazuma Kamachi (author) and Kiyotaka Haimura (illustrator) celebrates its 25th anniversary and has sold more than 16.5 million issues published by Kadokawa. It has been announced that the side story A Certain Scientific Accelerator, by Kazuma Kamachi (author) and Arata Yamaji (illustrator) will get a TV anime adaptation. It has also been announced that A Certain Scientific Railgun, by Kazuma Kamachi (author) and Motoi Fuyukawa (illustrator), is going to continue with a third season.

We have recently informed you about A Certain Magical Index III‘s staff members and air date. The title already aired its first episode on 5 October 2018.

A Certain Scientific Railgun is another spin-off of Kamachi’s A Certain Magical Index and is about the heroine Mikoto Misaka who is an electromaster in an Academy City trying to solve various cases with her friends. The manga is currently being serialized in ASCII Media Works’s Monthly Comic Denki Daioh and has released 13 volumes so far. The anime is to air somewhere in 2019. Nobuhiko Okamoto is to play the main character Accelerator and Rina Hidaka is to play Last Order. J.C.STAFF is in charge of A Certain Scientific Railgun III and A Certain Scientific Accelerator.
