In August 2017, the area of Minato Mirai in Yokohama, Kanagawa prefecture, will be filled with Pikachu during the Pikachu dake janai Pikachu Tairyou Hassei-chu~!
For the fourth time, more than 1,500 Pikachu and other Pokémon will appear in the city, and this year the event has also promised to present even more Pokevolved content. Additionally, on 14 August 2017, Japan will hold its largest Pikachu carnival parade ever. 100 Pikachu will march along lively like a Latin samba parade.

1. Pikachu Carnival Parade
This year, the Pikachu will have a big parade in the streets. Doubling the amount of last year’s 50 Pikachu, this time 100 Pikachu are scheduled to appear at the parade. It will be a fun parade with performers and dancers shaking off to latin music.

2. Street Event ~Tairyou Hassei-chu~
Last year, the ‘Zubunere Splash Show’ at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse was very popular, so this year it will be included as well. Of course, there are also other shops and facilities throughout Minato Mirai participating and welcoming Pikachu. And this year, Pikachu is also making the sky and the sea his stage! This summer, you won’t be able to stop taking photos wherever you step foot in Yokohama!
