Undeniably, Sailor Moon is still very popular, and for that reason, GU has announced they will be having another collaboration clothing series coming out soon. During the first round of their collaboration, more than 600 people stormed the GU Ginza store on the first day of sales, lining up to get the clothes before they were sold out. Sailor Moon fans who pay great attention to fashion made sure to spread the ‘Sailor Moon meets GU’ campaign online, giving it even more attention.
The second batch of clothes will be using different signs and characters and fall patterns. Eleven different kinds of clothing will be available using 26 different patterns. Also, this time they created a special ‘Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon meets GU’ tag for the clothes.
Two denim items have embroidered motifs on them: one is a skirt with the Moon Septre/Cutie Moon Rod and the Crystal Star on the right side and another one is denim pants that have the face of Luna on the height of the knees.
Those who like it more discreet might like the printed dress or blouse more, as they both use a Sailor Moon pattern. The dresses have the shadow of Sailor Moon after her transformation and the blouses have ‘Sailor Moon’ written on them, a half-moon, a rose, and Tuxedo Mask’s eye mask.
You can take a look at all the clothes on their website.
