Summer is near, my dear friends, and our tablets and phones will need some extra space for all the amazing anime that are coming our way.
Good Smile Company is going to produce 1/8 scale figures of Phos, a character from Haruka Ichikawa’s Land of the Lustrous (Houseki no Kuni) and release them in September 2018.
Shaping master Sakurako Iwanaga (Shokubutu Shojo-en) created a graceful and beautiful figure of Phos, the main character of Land of the Lustrous. Transparent parts have been used in various places and depending on the angle it is viewed, they sparkle differently. One part of her hair was painted in rainbow colors, which also directs the viewer into the unique world of the anime.
Furthermore, a Ventricosus jumping out of the water can be seen at the pedestal part. The water’s waves have also been smoothly molded. The figure’s price is 12,000 yen and can be preordered at GOODSMILE Online until 9 pm JST on 13 December.
