Kotaro and Akane end up in the same class in their 3rd year of middle school. They meet there for the first time. Feeling different from the people around them – parents, teacher, classmates, and friends – they follow their own path.
This anime greatly visualizes the romance of the youth nowadays. As a fellow teen in this era, I have never felt more connected to romance than Tsuki ga kirei. It visualizes the subtlety on how a teen basically acts in the face of love and on what they need to do in order for them to find a way to make that love bloom. It also shows on how teens interact with one another which is greatly needed for our viewers to watch so that they would know how others would act and what do they need to do in order to achieve romance that is portrayed in the show.
