Adaptation

The anime is based on Kaiu Shirai (story) and Posuka Demizu (art)’s manga The Promised Neverland. The manga is currently (January 2019) being serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. A combined total of 5 millions copies of the manga have been sold worldwide so far.
