Introduction

The story focuses on Ekoda-chan. Nude model, hostess, telephone operator and whatever else, she takes on various jobs, living through the days. Even though she has a boyfriend he doesn’t really treat her like ‘the one’ but more like a ‘for now’. The good looking girls (she calls them moukin (=bird of prey)) she sees while wandering through the city were declared her natural enemy. There are women with poisonous fangs at every street corner, every bar, every office. The creators recommend this story to all the ladies and gentleman out there, if they want to survive in this world.

Adaptation

The series is based on the 4-panel manga of the same title, which has been published in Kodansha’s Afternoon between 2005 and 2014.
