Introduction

Fire Force is a fantasy story about the Special Fire Force Company 8, who face a dark battle against something they call spontaneous human combustion, which suddenly appeared in the world. Humans turn into living infernos called Infernals. Newcomer Shinra, nicknamed ‘Devil’ due to a certain power he possesses, is determined to strike down these Infernals and become a hero for humanity and throws himself into the fight!

Adaptation

Fire Force is written by Atsushi Okubo (Soul Eater). It is being published by Kodansha and has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine since 23 September 2015. It is also available in English from Kodansha’s USA subsidiary in wide format, the first volume of which was published on 8 November 2016.
