Hi, YUKI here!
At last, Celes made a first appearance!
Every time the new episode unfolds, Lisha’s love rivals keep adding up. I’m a supporter of Lisha-sama, aww, I can’t stand it anymore yo!
Anyhow, let’s take a look at the sixth episode together.
Mind you, my reviews include spoilers if you haven’t watched the show yet. So, if you haven’t finished the episode, finish that first, then come back to my review, alright?
It is reported that unidentified individuals have been roaming around the girl’s academy’s ground. Lux receives the request to help Shalice patrolling the school.
Lux agrees to help; he starts patrolling around the academy; and then, to his surprise, out of the blue someone pops up in front of him and threatens him at knife point.
At that precise moment, a girl comes to rescue. She is a daughter of The Four Great Nobles, a girl who is rumored to be the strongest among all of the Academy, and the girl who leads the Chivalric Order. Her name is Celestia Ralgris.
Script: Masaya Nishijima
Storyboard: Yuito Matsubayashi
Direction: Hodaka Kuramoto
Animation Director: Katsuhiro Shimizu, Yosuke Sotoyama, Teruhiko Yamasaki, Masayuki Fujita, Miko Nakajima, Kaori Saito, Mayumi Hidaka
The academy faces a problem of a pervert roaming around the girls-only school ground. Lux is taxed with the assignment to patrol around the academy late at night, but, in disguise of a female student, to play bait.
During his scheduled patrol in a girl’s uniform, he spots a girl talking to a cat. Lux is intrigued with this girl and observes her for a while. Unfortunately, at that moment, someone attaks him from behind. The girl who was talking to the cat quickly came to rescue, and demands the attacker to drop the weapon and to surrender. The cornered attacker somehow finds a way to flee, and disappears.
It turns out that the girl who was talking to the cat is none other than Celestia Ralgris – Celes, for short – the Academy’s best and strongest student. While engaging in a conversation with her, Lux can’t bring up the fact that he is a male student in disguise, so, he introduces himself with a fake name – Luno.
Several days later, Lux’s eligibility of admittance in the all-girls Academy is brought to the attention of Celes. She disapproves making an exception of admitting a male student. Per a suggestion from the Academy President, Celes and Lux are set up to duel during the Chivalric Order special training camp. If Lux wins, he can stay in the Academy. If Celes wins, Lux must leave the Academy.
That night, Lux is urgently called upon to give someone a massage. He arrives at the specified room. To Lux’s surprise, a naked Celes is lying on a bed. He hastily puts on his girl’s disguise. Celes is fooled to believe Luno came to visit. Celes asks Luno to accompany her during next day’s break time.
In the following day, Celes takes Luno to go hang out at the nearby town. During lunch, Celes confesses Luno that the rumor is not true, she is not a man-hater.
In the scene where Krulcifer and Lisha fight over who may spend more time with Lux, the catfight is adorable to watch. Krulcifer is definitely becoming more and more aggressive since the last episode. Then, in this episode, Celes-senpai joins the harlem. Plus, Philuffy sneaks into Lux’ bed in the middle of the night, donning sexy langerie. My favorite Lisha-sama, on the other hand, puffed up to think she’s got the lead, just by holding hands with Lux. Oh dear, this is not gonna go well with her LOL
Some mysterious pieces got spotted here and there. A mysterious figure wearing a horn wistle appeared for the first time and murdered Balzeride. In another scene Celes was found to talk to herself that she wants Lux to stay away from the war.
Additionally, at the end of the episode she admits that she is not a man-hater. How does that play up in the succeeding story development?
I’m already looking forward to the next episode!
