I’m YUKI the writer! Do you remember when I commented on how much I love car-washing? In this episode, at last, Nene and Clarion washe each other’s cyborg body. Don’t miss Nene’s gleaming eyes, admiring the sparkling clean body she has just washed… I bet I have the same gleam in my eyes when I admire my spotless car. 🙂
In some industrialized nations, cyborgs and automatons became commercially available. It was an age in which the world was plagued with wars and natural disasters. People wandered around in search of relief.
Well, in fact, the story I’m going to give you has nothing to do with specific historical age. This is a story of a girl meets a girl.
Synopsis of the fifth episode: System Down
Nene invites Clarion to join her to a park, as she has “something to try out.” They arrive at the park, then begin street performing, by taking advantage of Nene’s Pandora Device. The duo receives big cheer from an entertained crowd.
Despite the success, she thinks that she didn’t earn these cool abilities by herself, it’s all provided by someone else. Meanwhile, out of the blue, Cenancle Island plunges into telecommunication interferences.
Highlight 1: Vlind chan
Vlind-chan comes back once again. She is furious because all the robots get jobs and she doesn’t. I hope she gets better treated in the future… Poor Vlind-chan…
It’s not just me who wishes to become the counter of that izakaya? Right?
Highlight 2: Highly digitalized world
I’m dependent on the Internet. I mean, It’s impossible to work without the internet. In the world of Crimson Shell, digital network interferences cause a massive scale of public panic, like, traffic jam and unprocessed financial transactions.
Nowadays even cars get connected to the internet. In a society like that, it seems to be highly important to prepare for possible disasters and have action plans.
Highlight 3: Is it fair not to use the power in you?
Nene puts her head around this question quite a bit. Imagine that you have been given a chance to install and utilize new knowledge, new skills. If that ever happens to me, I’m gonna swell. But, Nene chan is different. She feels guilty of possessing the abilities that are not inherent. She is a very genuine person, don’t you think? Or, would everyone feel like that, if given a body that is capable of everything?
That argument aside, Clarion’s comment is very powerful. “Is it fair not to use the power in you?“
A bad guy appears at the end, huh? In my opinion Robert-san is a nice guy, but, I start wondering what his true identity might be. A dark cloud is approaching slowly… that’s how I feel. What did you think of the episode? Leave your comment please!
