Hello, this is yukipapapa, a writer.
Here we are with NEW GAME episode 10!
This episode is a very heart-warming one that shows us how much Nenecchi and Aoba-chan care about each other.
Now let’s look at the review.
1. Best friends facing a crisis of breaking off!? Aoba-chan and Nenecchi sympathize each other.
Seeing Aoba-chan always working so hard even on her day off, looking tired all the time, Nenecchi complains about her company. Aoba-chan, hearing her complaints, throws dirt at her, saying if college students are supposed to be so leisured. They end up falling out.
They both fret themselves about the fight, but it’s a quite common occurrence between
friends and it’s often hard for them to find an opportunity to say sorry.
Meanwhile, Aoba-chan decides to talk to Kou-san about the fight with Nenecchi.
When Kou-san told her about her mother being overprotective, Aoba-chan realizes that Nenecchi too is worried about her as her best friend.
Depressed Nenecchi also receives an advice from Umiko-san that she can always apologize to Aoba-chan. She also saw loads of work Aoba-chan has done on her PC, and understands Aoba-chan’s feelings towards work.
Aoba-chan reflects on what she had said, and tells Nenecchi that she will make sure to watch out for her own health so as not to worry her. Nenecchi tells her that she is supporting her dream for the game development, and they apologize each other.
It really squeezed my heart to see the two making up again to be the original best friends, with no troubled feeling between them any more!
Nenecchi couldn’t apologize to Kou-san when she ate her pudding by mistake, though. I’m glad to see her properly apologizing to Aoba-chan this time!
2. Aoba-chan and Nenecchi got such great bosses watching them over!
It is so nice and warm to see how the bosses of Aoba-chan and Nenecchi deal with them feeling down after the fight.
Kou-san listens to Aoba-chan’s talk well, and soothes her heart by telling her own personal story.
Nenecchi being very depressed, Umiko-san gives her some direct advice, such as she should make up with her soon to keep their friendship, and encourages her to go apologizing before the lunch break ends.
Both Kou-san and Umiko-san are impressive as mature women by giving them right words!
Being a member of society is not always fun, but it’s great to see the great bosses who watch over their junior staff when they stumble over something, and this is another great element that I love about New Game.
I’m looking forward to the next episode too!
