Colteo is dead, and so is Avilio’s heart. Avilio is now an empty shell who is haunted by his hallucinations — Colteo. Luckily, his mind is not affected. It is still the cunning and evil genius as usual.
So, in order to execute his plan, Avilio asks Ganzo to write down his own name in the letter which he sent to him before. He explains to Ganzo that this will protect him from being suspect as his accomplice. In fact, it is also to complete his revenge list. After killing Colteo, Avilio has become obsessed with his revenge and even tells his hallucination, Colteo, to be patient as he will take down the people on his list one by one. (Seems like he got OCD on his revenge plan now.)
Well, Ganzo’s plan for Avilio is actually quite easy. On the day when Vincent attends the playhouse opening ceremony, Ganzo will arrange two assassins to get rid of Vincent’s bodyguard Del Toro. Then Avilio tries to enter Vincent’s room to kill him.
However, little does he know, Del Toro is surprisingly tough. He can still take down the two assassins after being stabbed twice. Avilio has no choice but to finish him by himself, before Del Toro alerts Vincent. He managed to kill Del Toro, but Barbero and Tigre caught him in the act too. So, he can’t move according to Ganzo’s plan.
Avilio is brought to the basement and interrogated immediately. He shows Barbero the letter to explain his motive. As expected, Barbero asks Tigre to bring Ganzo here to clarify. He does not want Nero here because he knows very well that Nero will never kill Avilio. Well, because of his jealousy, he is killed by Ganzo before Nero and Tigre arrive. In order to ensure Avilio can kill Vincent according to plan, Ganzo fools Nero to the opposite box, where they can watch how Avilio murders Vincent.
The box where Vincent and Don Galassia are seated is actually designed with bullet-proof door. Without the door key, no one can open from the outside. The only way to open it without the key is to open it from inside. If Vincent was the only one in the box, Avilio might never get into the room because Vincent is a cautious and careful person. But, lucky for Avilio, Don Galassia is in the box with Vincent and, for some unknown reasons, he likes Avilio very much, even tried to invite him to join his family. So, Don Galassia opens the door for Avilio.
Now, Avilio is in the box. He has a gun in his hand and Vincent in the room. Nero and others are at the opposite box. Don Galassia is present in the box but he has no reason to save Vincent, the ex-Don of another family. In other words, NOTHING can stop Avilio from killing Vincent now.
But, when Vincent closed his eyes and prepared to accept his death sentence, something strange happened. Avilio shot at Don Galassia, instead of his target Vincent. Everyone is shocked, especially Ganzo. He is the first man to die after Don Galassia because he is standing right next to Strega, Don Galassia’s nephew. This is indeed a brilliant move. Once Avilio, a member of Vanetti family, killed Don Galassia, the Galassias got the perfect reason to declare war with the Vanettis. And that is exactly what Strega does.
Avilio leaves Vincent alone with the body and escapes with the crowd. Old Vincent understands very well that he has just lost everything. The Galassias will surely destroy the Vanettis because of Avilio’s action. Regardless of all the sacrifices he made to protect the Vanettis, he gained nothing for himself or his son. In the end, Vincent Vanetti died of sickness, in his son Nero’s arm.
So Avilio managed to kill Ganzo and Vincent with only one gunshot at Don Galassia. On top of that, he actually destroyed the whole Vanetti family without any hassle. The only remaining target now will be his friend and “brother for life” Nero, who not only lost his mafia family, but also his blood-related family.

Now, both of them hate each other fairly since they lost all their precious ones because of one another. How are they going to settle their debts and will there be any survivors between them?
