Yuliy flies solo to search for the Sirius Box, FINALLY. We learn the location of the Sirius Box that seems to be the destination point for everyone. This episode may have not been exciting when it comes to action, contrary to past episodes. However, it held up well still, treating us to more about Yuliy’s brother and The Arc Of Sirius.
Japanese Original Title: (シリウスの聖域)
We have a glimpse into Yuliy’s brother, Mikhail’s past, and how he was turned into a vampire. Yuliy meets another Jaeger, who may have answers about the Sirius Box. The vampires are the current leaders above the jaeger hunters, with The Arc Of Sirius, within their grasp.
Sirius Box Location: FINALLY, the focus of the series is shifting to the Arc Of Sirius. Up until now, all we’ve known, is that Yuliy’s family were protectors of this box, but that’s been it. It was interesting to see the origins of the Sirius, even more so about what happened to Mikhail and Yuliy’s father. According to the leader of the Vampire clan, Yevgraf, Yuliy’s father sacrificed himself in order to protect the box using a barrier. Yevgraf tries to coax him to break the barrier but Mikhail fails, because of the Vampire blood in his veins. Yevgraf has complete control on Mikhail. So I’m hoping next episode we get to see this Arc Of Sirius.
Taken Advantage: It was about time seeing what happened to Yuliy’s brother Mikhail and how he turned into a vampire. Glad we got to see a flashback at least. Yevgraf formed a blood pact with Mikhail, saving his life, even if Yevgraf selfish intentions were to use Mikhail to obtain The Arc Of Sirius.
Yevgraf Not Scary: Yevgraf as a vampire is very unappealing; his character is stale and boring. He’s disappointing as the main villain and makes me not to care about his character. I would care more if Yevgraf were like Alucard from Hellsing but alas no.
Let’s All Go To The Box: First Yuliy, possibly his other jaeger members joining him, Military soldier Iba and Ryoka, are all heading for the same destination and for their own reasons. Big showdown will happen? Who knows, it’s funny they’re all heading for the same spot.
Sakhalin: This is Yuliy’s homeland but in real life, Sakhailn or Sachalin is an island off the coast of Russia.
This episode was a clear indicator that wer’e entering into the climax stage of the series. Going off from what I said in last week’s episode, twelve episodes for this series will be possibly too few. A new visual was released this week and teased us with a coming climax. That certainly leaves you wondering. I liked learning this episode about The Arc Of Sirius origins and knowing where the thing is now. It remains to be seen what vital role this box will play in the conclusion of the series. It better be something special. Throughout the series been harping on about this box and you would expect by this stage for something good.
I’m keen to find out if Yuliy and Mikhail father is still alive beneath the barrier, where he sacrificed himself. Also how the vampires are going to use the box to restore their vampire clan? Ah, so many questions left to be answered.
I found this episode not as exciting as the others. In the end, we got a little action. But, that’s fine. It doesn’t matter how this series turns out; I’m still going to love it for so many reasons. It was still good that we got a focus on The Arc Of Sirius.
Tell us in the comments what you thought of this week’s episode! Do you want to know what’s in this goddamn box, like I do?
