Disguise: Yaoyorozu’s excitement over buying at a discount store was adorable and amusing!! Personally speaking, who wouldn’t take advantage of buying good costumes for cheap prices, more so when you’re rich, right? It was also kind of an excuse to dress up! I wonder if they picked out their own disguises, because the way they acted in character were all entertaining to watch! I especially laughed at Deku and Iida! If they weren’t about to head into the battlefield that would’ve made for a fun costume party, right?
Adults on the move: Who else thought that montage when the pro heroes were being gathered looked so badass? You could truly sense the gravity of the situation because the best of the best were already the ones getting involved. If the villains still win even with these pros at the helm, society is really done for. They already started by ruining U.A.’s image, too.
Bakugo’s answer: Little Kacchan was super-duper cute!! (What happened, and where did he go?) We already know that he looked up to All Might a lot as well, just like Deku, but what inspired him was the fact that, no matter how hard it is, the Number 1 Hero always won and defeated bad guys! Now I kinda get why he always wants to win and never lose! It somehow ended up becoming pride though, but still, his admiration of the Symbol of Peace helped him stand his ground and not accept Shigaraki’s offer to let him join. Actually, if it weren’t for that hand on Shigaraki’s face, Bakugo would’ve gotten a clean hit!
Themes & Trivia
Donki Oote: This is a parody of Don Quijote, a store is quite famous in Japan with over 160 branches nationwide and a few ones in some parts of the world! Donki sells a variety of things, from food to souvenirs and clothing, you name it! It’s a really cheap discount store that’s open until late into the night, some even for 24 hours!
I absolutely loved how most of the scenes were directed (just like always)! Even though there were a lot of things happening, not once did they feel cluttered, and even the transition of emotions were smoothly done! Personally speaking, I think the aspect that helped make the scenes more amazing this time around were the voice acting! The emotions heightened 10 levels higher because of them, especially that scene with Iida outside the hospital!
We have to win like All Might!
The preview mentioned that Midoriya and the others found a…Nomu Factory? What in the world? The next episode’s title is even named after All Might’s arch nemesis! Just imagining what awaits us, it’s so thrilling!
