The eleventh episode of Maou-sama, Retry! was slow-paced and relaxing. It lacked in creativity compared to the previous ones, yet it was humorous and joyful. I was so tired of unoriginal isekai anime and this series is, without a doubt, a breath of fresh air in the industry. So, let’s move ahead and see what occurred in Infinite Game’s universe this time!
Kunai decides to take another walk in the city town again, to gather some useful information. Yukikaze approaches him and, after suggesting to visit a tavern to discuss ‘about business’, she makes her move. Damn, it was so awkward watching her and I couldn’t help but burst into laughs with each one of her punchlines. Plus, Mikan’s embarrassment made the whole situation even better! However, except the pervert talking, numerous queries were answered during this meeting and Demon-lord is gonna take a ‘life changing trip’ with Yukikaze. I sense that his harem is gonna be furious when they find out…
In the meantime, Angel White visits the village in order to save her sis, though she finds out that everyone is having a great time there and is utterly shocked. While she’s at the baths (you all know that this episode would have felt empty without at least one bath scene) she sees something that left her in a shock and… that’s it! I think it’s Kunai. This dude has a big crush on her and seeing her naked will blow his mind. I don’t know how Luna will react to that, but I’m sure that it will be hilarious.
Sleep Talking: ‘My butt is SO soft…’ Need I say more about Luna’s secret efforts which aim into alluring Kunai?
It’s a Trap: Kunai’s trap detection senses aren’t activated. He believes that Yukikaze is a girl and, honestly, who can blame him?
Mai(den): It seems that even the eldest Holy Maiden can be mistaken for a magician hired for help. Plus, we learn that it’s quite hard to ignore Isami’s orders.
Starting the Comments section, I can’t help but mention the improvement in the animation! The anime seems more decent than ever and I have to admit that I kinda miss the trashy battle scenes. Yet, the production is trying its best and if we see such artwork development so soon, can’t imagine what the future beholds! Moving on though, the story is heading somewhere interesting and I’m sure that there will be at least 24 episodes, since it feels like the plot has just began to unfold. I’m curious to see what Kunai will face in the dungeons and how Yukikaze will interact with the rest of the team.
In conclusion, everything continues to unfold smoothly and I enjoy this series even more every week! I’m champing to watch the continuation and read your opinion on the events here, in MANGA.TOKYO!
