If you are still watching this without getting paid, I do pity you. This is some royal garbage.
The big battle against the invasion of aspire is -finally- over, so naturally the episode begins with a montage of what has been going on so far. There are dead things outside the walls and children run happily around the street markets, stuffing themselves with food. Taichi pays tribute to Anna with a face smilier than expected. Soon, everyone has forgotten all about her and they’re chilling around Lemiya’s table, Taichi showing off his new skill (WAIT- THIS SHOW IS ABOUT TAICHI AND HIS SKILLS?), that is being able to summon an aerial spirit, which is probably the lamest power known to mankind in any lore imaginable, as we all know fire>water>earth>air, so, yeah, sucks for you, man. The spirit, Aerial, is a half-naked girl, and is being shown off by Taichi to his other female friends.
Some new person with purple hair shows up (her name is Norman?) and she seems to have been sent by some local royalty. She wants everyone to follow her to the capital. On their way to the capital, she explains to them the reason why the king has summoned them. His younger brother, a conservative who does not believe in allowing the country’s magician’s being outsourced and sent to foreign countries, is starting a rebellion against his older brother, the king. The king wants to summon all the land’s greatest warriors to join in the battle (omg who the hell cares). I’m not sure how this connects to the story so far (it doesn’t) but I’m sure that in some far-fetched way, we will eventually find out.
They eventually arrive in the city, which is practically empty NOT because they wanted to save on the animation budget but because… uh… the war? Maybe? Lemiya notices something and specifically asks the messenger if the king has sent for Taichi and Rin. Just in time, Taichi uses his SKILLS to save the messenger from an incoming arrow. So skillful, so wow. Looks like this was a move from the little brother, waging war on his older sibling. What was the point of it… who knows. They are then introduced to the court. I am already counting 3 pairs of unnecessarily exposed tits, some with armor (not gonna go there, not gonna go there). Also it seems like Lemiya and the king are in familiar terms – I am guessing they used to fuck – and she feels confident enough to set some ground rules with him. The king looks like an inbred Viking. Lemiya speculates that Rin and Taichi have been summoned to this world by him to assist in his war. He doesn’t even try to hide it. Suddenly, Taichi remembers that both him and Rin had something taken from them when they left their world to come here. They did seem pretty content about it so far.
Later, Princess Charlotte shows up in Taichi and Lemiya’s room and admits that she was the one who dragged them to this world, quite poorly too. She also mentions that not only did she mess up the spell but she is also currently unable to send them back, lol. She says that if they win the war, she’s gonna try to send them back. They seem to be taking it pretty well… I mean, I would have taken a shit on her bed and left, but they’re happy to win her stupid war that shouldn’t have involved them whatsoever.
They then throw Taichi to fight with the head of the local military, Sumella, the one with the metal skirt and bra. Proper warrior outfit. They start fighting right away, Taichi is chickening out and doesn’t summon aerial in fear of killing Sumella (who of course has ‘never fought a man like this’ – vom).
Suddenly, and inexplicably, he wins against her, and she decides she wants to marry him, what the actual fuck. Taichi refuses, as he prefers to masturbate to his naked fairy friend, while he tells her how difficult it is to be so unbelievably strong. Wow Taichi, I totally empathize, this must be like, really hard for you, man. Meanwhile, for zero reasons, Rin is being undressed somewhere. Oh wait, it’s so that Taichi can invade her private bedroom, enter without permission and witness her naked, then beg and apologize. That’s totally normal.
We also later find out that the princess is somehow connected to the ultra bad wizard guy, and that’s where the episode ends, praise Jesus.
Every week I think this show is as bad as can get, but it always manages to surprise me. If you’re still watching, please stop.
