Ready for a basic ass finale, cause I sure as hell am.
A brief introduction to the history of the land, back to the time where an irrational zombie-style bloody battle broke, serves as ground for Lemiya to explain what is currently going on in the battle, where the dead and the living and being taken over by some zombesk setup.
Meanwhile, Rin is making new friends, trying to group with the woman that almost killed her. Taichi is stuck in the enemy camp and tries to kill the zombies the guy with the goatee created. He has a long, boring chat with the king’s brother, where he basically takes responsibility for starting an unnecessary war – well, that took him a while. Taichi has his usual moment being a hero and super awesome and saying he will take on all the zombies. Aery seems concerned with his decision and freezes time or something, in order to make an apology. She says she’s been lying to him this whole time because she was scared of Taichi’s incredible power. She basically did not reveal her true super awesome powerful self until now because she didn’t trust him. So she’s gonna change form real quick and come back.
She disappears and Rin shows up, hurt by the zombie disease. Taichi is very happy to see her. I think she can tell because she looks embarrassed, to say the least. Her new barbarian friend has also come along. Taichi gives her his usual monologue then summons Aery’s new form that somehow cleans to zombiness out of everyone… Uh okay. Aery is back and she looks EXACTLY the same – I suppose they could provide a budget for a new character design, lol. Basically, the only difference with Aery and her new form, Sylphid, is her name. I’m not even kidding. Is this over yet?
The goatee guy has, in the meantime, turned into some sort of demon. Oh god we’re only halfway through the episode, should I fast forward? It wouldn’t be the first time. They engage in battle. For an introduction like the one Sylphid gave Taichi before (a power so strong it could destroy everything) it doesn’t look like Taichi is doing too well… I mean… Oh god it is so mediocre. I don’t know, I guess in my head the ultimate power is something like, you click your fingers and people die? Instead, Taichi is punching and sweating. Goatee man is kinda dying anyway. Then Taichi gets all emotional and.. Is he actually gonna let him live? Ah, no, I think he’s dead. Also, apparently Taichi is not human anymore? Does this make him more or less awesome? I’m gonna guess the answer is more, as everything in this show is basically all about how great he is.
He wakes up in a bed where all the show’s females are literally standing by waiting for him to wake up. His reaction – he is hungry. The episode move to a voiceover montage of how amazing everything now is thanks to Taichi. Oh, and the king’s brother is executed. Lol.
It is! Thank the lord. Honestly, the quality of this show almost brought me physical pain.
