I did a boo boo from last week’s episode, feeling cheated, as I highlighted Hitomi getting her color back which wasn’t the case. That whole last scene deceived me, maybe I jumped the gun. But, this week’s episode everyone goes on a club training camp for one night and it’s all about the bonding. This episode, like those the past two weeks, has been amazing in terms of animation and atmosphere.
Hitomi and the others go on their annual one night training camp for the newly united Photography Arts club. While there is a joyous atmosphere, Kurumi is torn about not knowing what she wants to do with her life. This night of bonding brings new revelations and closeness.
Kurumi and Chigusa: I was waiting for Kurumi and Chigusa to have some focus time. it was obvious but these two work well together. They are both fun, spirited people, and their chemistry works. Though Chigusa at first sounded like a girl, his voice but I’ve gotten used to it but how can you not think he should have been a girl, haha.
Kohaku Cutie: Spontaneous grandma Kohaku has really made this more fun with her appearance. That optimistic nature is so infectious and her minor melding to with Hitomi and Yuta is cute. I love her!
Other Focus: This week’s focus was on Kurumi a fair part and feel like now at this point in the series really gotten a feel for these characters. I love Kurumi, right off the bat. Characters like her that are spunky, loud, and full of fun automatically win me over always. We got to see a different side of her one that was unsure about her future and felt so important to me. Giving each character equal focus is necessary and I’m just happy at this point that Kurumi got her turn.
Sample Drawing: Any interaction Hitomi and Yuta have from now on is cute, where at first I did not like Yuta at first. Still don’t like him to a degree but his newfound drive thanks to darling Hitomi, makes him tolerable, haha. I digged the drawing Yuta did for Hitomi and it was a nice moment to have in the episode.
Future: The episode was focused heavily this week on Kurumi who was unsure about her future. Chigusa reminds her that it’s okay to take your time with finding what you want to do and which is true. Finding what career you want to do with your life, happens at your pace and eventually you will find it. Things take time and you shouldn’t feel like you’re in a rush to find it.
Hitomi and the others, I officially love every single one of them; with the exception of Yuta slightly because of his prior treatment towards Hitomi, but he’s growing on me little by little. I love how the series has focused on each of the characters; taken some TIME PEOPLE. The splendid voice acting has been a running factor as well; I am loving them so much now. I find all the bonds they all building together beautiful and things will get better when the romance takes full effect.
This week’s episode was great and at this point I’m really happy with where the series is leading. Relationships are building slowly and every character having focus time. The ATMOSPHERE in every episode is spot-on every time, ARGH!! I LOVE IT.
Iroduku The World In Colors is trailing along where bonds and romance are growing. I’ve come to love this series a lot, is in the running for a dear favorite from this year. I’m stoked to see where everyone ends up.
