DANG IT!! They are going to leave Hitomi’s confession till last thing. This episode had me teary from 3/4 in… it was an emotional episode. Sucking it up to put on a good front as Hitomi tries to be strong for others before she disappears. Kohaku must return her to the future, the emotions were at high among the group as Hitomi’s departure time is here.
Japanese Original Title: 明るく輝く日に
Hitomi vows to not waste the time she has left with the others. Making the most before Hitomi’s departure, Hitomi dives herself into the culture fest along with the others. But still there are unresolved feelings to settle with Yuta.
Happiness: It made me cry so bad, the scene with Hitomi’s forgotten feelings of what it feels like to be happy, then seeing the color of the fireworks. Then… her damn facial expression after I practically broke into tears for Hitomi. I still don’t know why it’s been such a joy to watch Hitomi change and finally reach this point of happiness for herself. A feeling she seemed to have forgotten for for a long time. Best moment of this episode, guarantee tear jerker.
Group Bond: I’ve said this before but I just love how the main group of characters in this series interact with each other. How close they have become together, seeing how much they all had putting together for their culture fest exhibit. It just warms your heart.
Blew Your Chance: Asagi made me laugh, secretly planning to let Hitomi and Yuta have alone time together. Not that anything progressed to no avail. IT WAS THE PERFECT CHANCE, HAUNTED HOUSE, DARKNESS!! Wasted, of course. It was so frustrating to watch Yuta blow his chance like that, grabbing her hand and it’s ‘COME ON BRO’. Now last episode all the freaking emotions will pour out leaving me a pile of feels. I won’t know what to do with.
Bro, I’m not ready for this last episode that will come next week. I AM NOT READY PEOPLE. THIS EPISODE WAS EMOTIONAL ENOUGH AND I REACHED MY LIMIT. It was such a good episode because of it, especially on Hitomi’s part towards the end, everyone is out looking at the fireworks – the end of the cultural fest. Kohaku congratulates her for doing a good job with the exhibit. The overwhelming running through Hitomi’s you could see on her face just set off the waterworks for me. Even more when I realized how it felt to feel happy around people, seeing the colorful fireworks even if in that moment.
It was a beautiful way to reflect all Hitomi’s time in the past with meeting the others and her younger grandma. The influence and affect having over her and it’s a perfect tear jerker moment to hit you in the feels. But, what I’m frustrated about is knowing the series would do this: leave unresolved the feelings between Hitomi and Yuta. It won’t be concluded till next bloody episode… JUST TYPICAL FOR A ROMANCE ANIME LIKE THIS. It’s going to wreck my heart so badly, and it’s funny at the same time – at the start never seeing these two together. Now I just want them together, the perils of anime shipping characters is always ever-changing, haha.
Last episode and this episode have had me stumped a bit because I don’t want this beautiful, magical series to be over. This episode was so good yet too damn emotional, not in a bad way though. Let last episode come around really slow, so I have time to prepare myself for an even more tear jerker ending.
People Close Are Happy Colours All Around
It’s going to be an emotional wreck next episode, I can feel it. Hitomi is finally happy once again in her life now she will dragged away from it. Ughh no!!!
