My suspiciousness was right as this week’s episode revealed Sousuke’s reason for being in Namsac, to get close to Amalgam where poor Kaname is being held captive still. Finally, after last week’s event, we’re getting back on track!
Sousuke continues to help Nami and her team win the arena AS battles. This has to have a purpose, right? Why is Sousuke putting his time into this? We know that it’s all to get Kaname back but it will be interesting how this will happen. Everything becomes more clear when Lemon and Sousuke are arrested by the police.
Police are about as corrupt as you could get, and Sousuke is acting smug, fishing for information that leads to getting closer to Amalgam. Payback is coming now, can you feel it!
No Clue About Girls: “My high-level combat skills and intelligence are of value in Nami’s team.” It was a hilarious scene when Nami’s team assumed something was going on with Nami. Poor Sousuke was clueless and seeing from his perspective his combat skills are of value. On the other hand, hearing him mutter Chidori’s name was an awe moment. I immediately knew from that point that we were going to find out more about Sousuke’s plan.
That’s All I Got: It was a brief scene between Lemon and Sousuke, discussing about their talents and Sousuke stating that all he has to offer is his military intel and combat skills. I wished he could say he was good at something else.
Smug Sousuke: I loved Sousuke’s act he put in front of the police chief in order to sniff out the information Sousuke was looking for of illegal AS battles. I knew the police chief was as dumb to fall for Sousuke act.
Kurama: He appears in Invisible Victory only, dark shades, bald head. He is a part of the Amalgam group and does all the dirty work. It is still not clear what his personal intentions were from the start of the series and the conversation between Leonard and Kurama raised even more questions.
Namsac Setting: If you’re confused going from Episode 4 to Episode 5, Sousuke appears in a different setting and three months have passed since Mithril was wiped out.
Secretive: While telling Nami of Sousuke’s true intentions for coming to Namsac, he has a flashback about the moment when Kyoko panicked while Sousuke was trying to save her. Kyoko wanted to know the truth than he left in dark. Sousuke had a realization that you can’t leave people in the dark, depending on the situation.
I was waiting for our main plot to begin. After 7 minutes into the episode, things began to move. Sousuke’s intentions were revealed as he wished to participate in Amalgam illegal AS battles in order to get closer to them. I don’t feel a whole episode and a half focused shrouding in mystery. Why Sousuke was in Namsac? I knew the reason but it took so long to be revealed. Better make up for the next half of the series, I have expectations now.
That Lemon guy, he’s hiding something. I bet he could be working for Amalgam no doubt, but we will see. This episode at least was a tad more exciting than the last but we have to get this thing moving again. I miss Kaname and the other characters and I want to see them.
At last, the plot is moving forward! No more slow episodes, please! I have a slow tolerance level with this series, that maybe because so use to a fast pace. I’m sure next week we’ll get to see Kaname and the others, I hope. Tell me in the comments what you thought of this week’s episode!
Give us the action next week!!!
