We had an interesting viewpoint in this week’s episode about people’s perceptions about what’s right and wrong to them. This episode was very interesting as Rui and Natsuo were more than determined to see Hina break up with her affair, but we also had a few some surprises. You still have my attention, Domestic Girlfriend.
Japanese Original Title: どうなの、君は?
Rui and Natsuo constantly stalk Hina everywhere, hoping to glimpse her mystery dude, which came to avail. However by pure coincidence the pair run into Hina and her affair and things escalate among everyone.
Straight Face: I don’t know how Hina’s affair, Shu, kept a straight face the whole time admitting openly that he was MARRIED and he liked Hina, not batting an eyelid. From a real life perspective, it makes you wonder how such people are okay with being in a situation like that. The whole scene left me gasping and was executed perfectly to make me mad, haha.
Oops Splash: After Natsuo burst of rage towards Shu, next minute you know and that glass of water is going the Jerk’s face. But haha it was hysterical that in the end it was Rui instead of Natsuo.
Sensitive Natsuo: Natsuo as a child was a total cutie and also a cry baby. But It was really sweet seeing him as a kid and with his mum before she passed on. Ah, Natsuo is a sensitive soul.
This episode started out very interesting with Rui and Natsuo meeting Shu. It was a grueling scene to watch, I must admit, Shu openly introducing himself and admitting his affair with Hina. I was just thinking if that was real life and someone was really doing that, well it sickens you, doesn’t it? How someone can do what Shu is doing and not understand the logic? I liked seeing out of all this situation the perspective of how we perceive people’s decisions and situations they are in. The right and wrong in it, especially as Shu describes this ‘sense of justice’ younger people have. I was surprised such a true point was made among all the complexity of things.
Ultimately, it was a tad of a disappointment that Hina broke it off with Shu. It was a predictable move but a shame. Would have made this love complex series even more juicer and interesting and make it a real soap opera. No, they decided to end on a predictable note which was boring to me. Still I’m keen to see what’s going to happen next and how complex things will become after this. I have this feeling from now it will just become messy and go downhill to be honest.
This week’s episode was all right ending on a disappointing note that was left predictable of Hina breaking up with Shu. Because of people’s whining and family, would have been nice if she was just selfish. Oh well, let’s see where this series goes next.
More drama next week!
