We’ve escalated from honey sex and hanky panky in the back of a bus to teacher/student roleplay smut! DAKAICHI is the BL gift that just keeps on giving! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) This is what fangirl dreams are made of, so without further ado, let’s dive into this week’s episode, ‘I’ve Been Framed’.
Both Junta and Takato have moved on to other projects now that filming on Mid-Afternoon Star is over. But, after weeks of no contact, Takato is feeling a little lonely without his guardian perverted angel watching over him… that is until Junta straight up kidnaps him for some much-needed quality time!
You Don’t Call… You Don’t Text: Takato accuses Junta of abandoning him despite saying he was going to come see him all the time after their previous shoot ended. It’s really cute to see Takato slowly coming around to Junta’s affections and being so cranky when he’s left alone for too long.
Warning Bells: I love all the little comedic touches in the series! There are literal warning bells that sound off when Junta gets ideas that are bound to put Takato in a sticky situation.
School Uniform Cosplay: Junta had Takato dress up in a high school uniform so he could live out his own teacher/student forbidden romance sex fantasy and IT WAS AWESOME!!! I thought the honey sex scene was the best, but, this blew that out of the water, especially since you can really tell that Takato is getting into it, calling Junta ‘sensei’ and everything…
Ya’ll, Junta asked my boy to move in with him!!! If that isn’t progress, I don’t know what is! But, then again, as Takato points out, he already has his own mug and a toothbrush at Junta’s place, so, he kinda already does live there… At least Junta asked, he could have just jumped the gun and moved all of Takato’s stuff into his apartment… baby steps.
This week’s episode treated us to some forbidden student/teacher romance roleplay and I’m not going to lie, I really liked seeing a blushing Takato in uniform. But, the whole scene was beautifully shot with all this great lighting and close ups of Takato succumbing to the wiles of Junta… perfection!
We were also introduced to another character, another up-and-coming actor and acquaintance of Junta’s and from the way he seems to light up around his senpai, I can see this either leading into love rival territory or potential new pairing foreshadowing. I sincerely hope it’s the latter because I absolutely HATE love triangles!
This week’s episode was much the same, a bit of light comedy and steamy intimate moments between Junta and Takato. Granted, they’re much more domestic than they were at the start of the series so it’s about time the series introduces another pairing (and from the look of the after credits preview that’ll probably be next episode). Another solid episode.
I’ll be back next week with another DAKAICHI review, but in the meantime, be sure to check out MANGA.TOKYO’s other amazing Fall 2018 reviews!!
