In this episode of A Sister’s All You Need, we have reality slaps with how hard the life of an editor can be, Miyako saying d*ck, a love confession, and an amazing spin-off of Attack on Titan with p*nises everywhere.
Japanese Original Episode Title: 主人公にさえなればいい
Miyako is going over to Itsuki’s place only to find him dying because he was trying to finish his script on time. He then asks her to get it delivered to his editor which she does. She then goes to Nayu’s place to motivate her to finish her manuscript on time, which she does. Later on, we see the gang hanging around at Itsuki’s place, celebrating the release of Itsuki’s and Nayu’s new works. They drink, eat, chat and of course play some board games that end up with weird lewd stories. After Chihiro and Miyako leave, Nayu falls asleep at Itsuki’s bed and Haruto is chatting with Itsuki trying to make him say that he likes Nayu. Itsuki confesses that he really likes her but won’t say anything because he wants to have a better career first than a relationship. But Nayu was not asleep after all and heard everything… At the end of the episode we are announced that ‘Sister Method Academy’ will get an anime.
Itsuki’s beard: Come on, he didn’t sleep for two days and he already have a moustache and a beard growing, what the hell man.
Attack on P*nis: Well, we all expected the story to go wrong, but seriously this was just beyond my imagination. The p*nis weapon or 3D maneuver for Titans or whatever was just hilarious. It would be a good plot for a hentai Itsuki, not for an anime…
Itsuki’s confession: Was he that drunk to think that Nayu could hear him? He has been keeping it secret for so long because of his own reasons and the only time where Haruto asked him to talk about it, he decided to confess everything when Nayu was sleeping at his bed? This will definitely make things worse or awkward in the final episode.
Themes & Trivia
Yet another board game to talk about out of this episode:
Moteneba: Which literally means ‘Gotta be popular’, is a game in where the players try to impress seven girls, becoming more and more popular. Players take turns placing cubes representing sportiness, intelligence, looks, wealth and esprit on various girls. How much effect a certain something has depends on what trends are going, and players can instead decide to elevate the trend of a certain trait, effectively affecting everyone’s decision. It’s like a reverse otome game.
The story of the ‘Once Upon A Time’ board game was the best scene in the series so far. I mean what kind of curse is a one meter d*ck and being naked forever? Nayu just took the story back to Neanderthal times, as simple as that.
Okay, let’s talk about a little bit about Haruto being a manipulative prick. I don’t think he had bad intents when he was doing that but he certainly wants to push things his way so he can make his move to Miyako. The only thing that it’s frustrating here is that he doesn’t show to Miyako that he likes her before trying to get Itsuki to be with Nayu, which makes him a coward. Of course, he is trying to push his friends to get together since he knows that they both like each other, but his intentions are not pure and that is what makes an as*hole is after all.
I have to say though, I completely understand Itsuki and I think his behavior is very straightforward. He wants to be successful and happy with his work and career and then try to test the relationship with Nayu. ‘Being the protagonist’ as he said, is not a bad thing to do nor being selfish. Pushing things can lead to a disaster, and to be honest, I think Nayu might had something to do with Itsuki’s novel getting an anime. The timing is way too perfect…
Ultimate P*nis Master
I think that the last episode will be very interesting. There are a lot of things that need to be done and if the series in not getting a second season, they better give us what we want in the finale: Itsuki and Nayu together, happy, and successful, Haruto and Miyako (we still need to see what she wants) as a couple as well and finally Itsuki knowing that he has a little sister. Cheers!
