The premiere for the movie Digimon Adventure tri. 4: Soushitsu was held on February 3, 2017. Suzuko Mimori (Sora Takenouchi) and Junya Enoki (Takeru Takaishi) went on the stage wearing the movie’s uniform and talked about their feelings towards the movie.
Mimori and Enoki wore the uniform of the in-movie school Tsukishima Sougou High School. Mimori commented on the story of Sora and Piyomon, ‘I put so much of myself into Sora that my chest actually hurt.’ Enoki said, ‘I was wondering how Digimon Adventure tri. 4 would go, since Digimon Adventure tri. 3 ended shockingly. However, I was relieved seeing a lot of unexpected funny scenes, including the scene where Gabumon called Yamato “Yamato-kun”.’
They also talked about their favorite scenes: ‘I like the scene where Sora got frustrated because Taichi and Yamato didn’t understand her feelings. I though that was very youth-like. I can imagine this kind of situation happens in real life as well,’ Mimori said and smiled. ‘I like the scene where Takeru meets Elecmon again. I was touched watching it because it reminds of the similar scene that I watched when I was a child,’ Enoki said, ‘My other favorite scene is the rendezvous with Taichi and Yamato in the water.’
When it came to the recording, they talked about a incident that happened with Atori Shigematsu (Piyomon). Mimori said, ‘I always sit next to Atori for the recording but I didn’t talk with her that time. Maybe, we both wanted to be identified with our characters.’ They seemed to be engaged in their characters. At the end of their talk, Enoki said, ‘Please watch it at least two or three times. This movie is already the third one out of six. I appreciate the support from all of you until the end of the series.’ Mimori also said, ‘Please post comments saying “Digimon was a very good movie! I’ll watch it again!” on social media’!
