What is “Concrete Revolutio: Choujin Gensou~THE LAST SONG”?
“A new Japan” is the stage. A feast for a multitude of superhumans shall unfold on it. 20-odd years post-war, a period of high economic growth sets the stage in Japan. This era of time is known as the Apotheosis era. What would happen if the plethora of superheroes imagined and created throughout time began to manifest themselves in reality, all at once?
The continuation to the first season will be known as THE LAST SONG, and it begins airing this April!
New superheroes and secret histories combined with a mosaic of revelations to produce a major spark. The superheros’ banquet unfolding on the “new Japan” heads towards its climax!
Young superheroes are wrapped up in a disturbance at Shinjuku. The reckless Jiro breaks away from the Superhuman Bureau and departs on a spiritual journey.
Since the end of the World War, the year Apotheosis 45, everything is changing rapidly. Japan is no longer the same. Attitudes toward superhumans have worsened, the tension of a cold war, and meddling in internal affairs and commerce by the United States has increased. The upsurge that occurred in the first half of the decade can no longer be undone.
The superhumans are now divided in two camps. One is the Outro Group, who use their special abilities for evil. The other is the Superhuman Bureau, attempting to stop the Outro Group.
The superhumans must have their reasons. Is there no choice but to become subordinate to the state?
Jiro Hitoyoshi, amidst a chaos of human volition and social status and titles, has turned to the Outro Group. He acts in accordance with one principle: to protect superhumans. But this will take him down a path of many struggles and self-searching.
At the heart of the plot is a secret which Jiro is keeping, but of which he himself is not yet aware of.
