Pocky (ポッキ) is a very popular snack that often appears in Japanese anime. There is no way you haven’t seen them somewhere. These chocolate-coated biscuit sticks are produced by Ezaki Glico and were first sold in 1966. Now they are one of the most famous representatives of Japanese snacks and sweets!
Recently, Pocky collaborated with ONE PIECE. We couldn’t pass the chance to get all the anime goodies and we bought a whole box. There are 6 packs in a box. Each pack costs 300 yen and a box costs 1,800 yen.
This is the outside jacket of the pack. The design is very intriguing.
Let’s open it.
There is a cool ONE PIECE illustration in front!
There are six packs in a box.
On the pack we can see Luffy, Robin, Brook, Sanji, and Usopp beautifully printed.
On the back there are Zoro, Nami, Chopper, and Franky.
There are two original stickers and each pack can have either.
The two stickers.
Let’s open the Pocky box as well.
Inside the box, there are six Pocky sticks and…
…there is also a card! We like the awesome characters on the package.
It just looks like a regular Pocky, but…
This is bigger than an adult male’s hand.
Let’s compare it with Pocky PRETZ.
There is already a big difference in size.
It’s about twice as large as PRETZ.
Maybe the huge size reflects the great bravery of the Straw Hat Pirates! It’s filling and satisfying too!
There are so many more collaborative snacks between Glico and ONE PIECE, and we want to try unpacking them all!
