TV anime “Rewrite” reveals key visual and new PV, script by Takashi Aoshima and Tatsuya Takahashi
“Rewrite” is aVisual novel by Key, a brand of VisualArt’s, and its TV anime adaption is scheduled in July 2016. A key visual and new PV are announced as well as additional staff members to unveil various new information for the premier this summer.
First of all, the key visual has Kagari, one of the heroines. The earth is drawn on her hands with the impressive background of the pale moon shining. It gives us a sort of dreamy feeling, and matches well with its blurb “たとえ未来が閉ざされていても /Even if we are shut off to the future”.
The new PV features heroines including Kotori Kanbe and Chihaya Ohtori, and you can enjoy their voices and animation on it.
They also announced Takashi Aoshima, known for “Himouto! Umaru-chan” and Tatsuya Takahashi, known for “The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls” joining the production team as the additional staff for scripts. Takahashi is especially known for his track record of success such as “Kizuato” and “To Heart” with theVisual novel brand, Leaf, and his joining this team for Key’s anime will be welcomed by fans with surprise. Romeo Tanaka, the original game scenario writer, and Kai (VisualArts), known for the “CLANNAD” scenario are credited with series composition as previously reported.
Furthermore, Masayuki Nonaka, the main animator of the “Grisaia” series, is assigned as the chief animation director as well as adapting the character designs. Other staff members on art, photography, and music are also listed.
Tenshou, aka, Motoki Tanaka, who worked with the opening animation of the original game, is directing the anime, and the animation will be produced by 8-Bit, known for the “Grisaia” series and “Comet Lucifer”.
