The dullahan monster girl, Kyoko Machi, is one of the main characters from the winter 2017 anime, Demi-chan wa Kataritai. She is a pretty and eye-catching character whose head is always detached and held in her arms.
MANGA.TOKYO has found out about a special project in Japan that will exhibit Kyoko Machi’s head figure in Animate stores all over the country. The project’s title is Kyoko Machi wa Tabi ni Detai (Kyoko Machi Wants to Go on a Journey).
This project will be launched as a collaboration with anime goods store Animate. The figure of Kyoko Machi’s head will be displayed in designated Animate stores for a limited time only. By posting the Kyoko figure’s photo on Twitter with 2 hashtags (#＃町京子は旅に出たい #[animate branch]), you can get a special free photo of Kyoko at the Animate store that runs the event.
Furthermore, ten lucky people can get the anime’s advertising posters with an autograph from Mimami Shinoda, who plays Kyoko Machi in the anime. One super lucky person will receive the Kyoko Machi head figure after her travels across Japan.
The event will begin from December 21st and will run two courses. They will begin at the Animate Sapporo store and the Animate Fukuoka Tenjin stores respectively. Please visit if you are coming to Japan!
