The mini event Bakusute Sotokanda Icchome × ClassicaLoid Fan Press Event presented by Arukesha was held at Akihabara Backstage Pass in Tokyo on January 7, 2017. In the event, the fans were allowed to ask questions to the presenters as though they were journalists themselves. This event was held in order to advertise the album ClassicaLoid MUSIK Collection Vol.1, which includes songs from the TV anime ClassicaLoid.
ClassicaLoid is an original music-gag comedy TV anime that began airing on NHK on October 8, 2016. The main characters are Kanae Otowa, who is an owner of Otowakan and hopes to revitalize the town with music, and Sosuke Kagura, who stays at Otowakan and dreams of becoming a famous singer. Since Otowakan was struggling with its management, its was decided that it would be demolished. However, two guys who call themselves Beethoven and Mozart suddenly show up and start using a magical power called Muzik.
Azumi Kawada, a member of Nirenja who has experienced 4600 stages, chaired the event. Azumi Kawada asked questions to Saotome, Horiuchi and Kubota who sing SHALALA Nayandetemo kaiketsusen ~from The Nutcracker ~ . When they were asked about their first impression of the song, they answered, ‘The song came to me smoothly,’ ‘The lyrics get along with the melody,’ and ‘I want you to recall this song when listening to The Nutcracker’. They also mentioned that the song stays in your head because the melody is familiar to everyone. About Yatterannai kibun Yada and Sato said, ‘This song seems to see through my heart’ and ‘This song has a cute atmosphere which is different to that of Bakusute.’
After that, the fans had time to ask questions as thought they were journalists. When asked about how she felt when the song was played in the anime, Sato answered, ‘It felt strange in a good sense.’ She also revealed that she struggled with bending and dialects during the recording of the song.
After the question time, the fans had time to take pictures, and then they had the chance to see a mini concert by the two idol groups. They performed SHALALA Nayandetemokai ketsusen ~from The Nutcracker~ and Yatterannai kibun with a catchy dance..
After the event, we interviewed Yada and Sato from KuraKura. We asked them about how they felt during the event. They smiled and said, ‘We had a great time interacting with our fans.’ They said that they are watching all the episodes of the animation and told us about their favorite scenes. Yada said that she likes the scene in which everyone cleaned the house together in episode 11. Sato, on the other hand, likes the scene where Motsu helps out a deer.
We then asked them about their favorite part of Yatterannai kibun, which was performed in the concert in the event. Sato said, ‘I like the part around “bye-bye” with keeping the upper arms to the body’, and Yada said, ‘I like the part “che che che che” because it sounds like a whispering.’ They also told us about their love toward the work and its songs.
The second soundtrack album ClassicaLoid MUSIK Collection Vol.2 will be released on February 22, 2017.
