A coaster with a motif of a handguard of Japanese sword, the soul of samurai, will be released!
KOTOBUKIYA, following their own brand “Samurai Chopsticks”, announced its intention to release another series “Bushi no Shokutaku”.
As the first item of this new series, they announced that the rubber coaster with a motif of a handguard of Japanese sword, which is said to be the soul of a samurai, will be released in August, 2016.
Just placing it somewhere will change the atmosphere of the whole room, so it is the perfect item for casual teatime or when welcoming visitors.
There are 4 kinds in total for Nobunaga Oda, “Eirakusen Suemonkinzougan” which commemorates his victory in the war at Atsuta Jingu Shrine; for Hideyoshi Toyotomi, “Kirimonsukashi Ootsuba” which he received from the emperor and has Toyotomi’s family crest on; for Ieyasu Tokugawa who is the first shogun and considered to be one of three heroes, “Yukiwa Yohoukensukashitetsutsuba” which is his favorite sword; and for Yukimura Sanada who became the topic through the TV drama, “Rokumonsen” which used his banner and family crest as motifs, each is reproduced with close attention down to details.
