In commemoration of the anime’s 30th anniversary, Dragon Ball and TOWER RECORDS CAFE will do a special collaboration. They will open the first-ever Dragon Ball themed cafe for a limited period of time!
There will be a total of three TOWER RECORDS CAFE shops featuring this special collaboration, Shibuya shop, Omotesando shop, and Umeda NU Chayamachi shop. Omotesando and Umeda NU Chayamachi shops will open on November 1 for 30 days, and Shibuya shop will open on November 8 for 30 days.
Each of the shops will feature incredible panels with nostalgic scenes from the anime, and as it is customary, drinks and food will be served on original coasters. Each shop will have their own unique menu items: Shibuya and Umeda will offer the ‘Yamucha no Yokan! Meat sauce spagetti’ and the ‘Hokoritakaki Saiya Jin no Ouji Vegeta Salad’, while Omotesando will offer Toki wo Koeta Omoi Trunks to My special plate’ and ‘Kyukyoku no Hissatsuwaza Kaiouken Curry’. All the dishes come with some amazing character cutouts.
The drinks are also inspired by the anime and visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy Ideyo! Shenlong soda’ and ‘Kame Mark Latte’. The latter actually has a Kame (亀) mark on it!
TOWER RECORDS stores across Japan will start selling Dragon Ball-related merchandise such as towels, clear files, mugs, and some collaborative items between Arare from Dr. Slump and Goku. These items will also be available on the online stores for those who will not be able to visit the shops.
