HADO is a wearable device (head-mounted VR display and an arm sensor) that combines the real-life surroundings with augmented reality games. Imagine Pokemon GO on steroids. In HADO, players hold an energy ball and fight in against each other in teams of three. You can either shoot energy balls or defend against them using barriers. Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?
HADO will hold its very own World Cup, HADO WORLD CUP 2016, at Katayanagi Arena (Nippon Engineering College of Kamata building No.2 basement 4) on November 26 and it will have a combined prize pool of 1 million yen!
The main tournament will not be the only prize event. Awards will be given to Best Costume, Best Team, and more.
