The Ancient Magus Bride Part 3 will celebrate its completion with an event that will take place on 19 August 2017. The event will include a short review of the first and second movie, and the first screening of the third part. Also, Chise Hatori’s voice, Atsumi Tanezaki, and Elias’ voice, Ryota Takeuchi, will be present for a talk event.
The Ancient Magus Bride (Mahoutsukai no Yome) is currently being serialized in the Monthly Comic Garden and has so far sold over 4 million copies. In 2015 it won various manga awards and was well-praised by manga as well as fantasy fans. In 2016, an anime project started for the series, producing movies for the three volumes: 6, 7 and 8 (volume 8 will be released on 8 September 2017).
The series will be adapted into a TV anime on October 2017. In charge of production will be WIT STUDIO, known for Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) and Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress (Koutetsujou no Kabenari). The series will run during the Fall 2017 and Winter 2018 season.
It’s amazing to have such an event so close to the release date of the anime series!
I am in charge of development and editing at MANGA.TOKYO.
Taking advantage of my school days, where I spent a lot of my free time with music and anime, I look for new content and want to expose the fun side of Japan’s Otaku culture.
My favorite anime is Gurren Lagann!
