Hello! I am Kitahata, the editor-in-chief at MANGA.TOKYO. I live in Japan and turn press releases from Japanese companies into articles that are easy for those outside of Japan to understand. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me!
The ‘Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju: Sukeroku Futatabi-hen Museum in Animate Shibuya’ is a museum based on Haruko Kumota’s manga Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju and is taking place from 6-15 June 2017 at Animate Shibuya, Tokyo.
The museum has been opened to celebrate the release of the DVD/Blu-ray box set of the anime. At the venue, copies of the original manuscript can be seen as well as panels showing scenes from the series. Goods will also be on sale. As a special gift to fans, an original fan will be given out to those who buy one of the marked products (first-come-first-served) and will be entered into the lottery to win one of the exhibited panels.
Event period: 6-15 June 2017
Venue: Animate Shibuya
Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu was part of our episodic anime reviews for Winter 2017.
