Since January 2017, May’n has been on tour with her May’n Asia Tour 2017 ‘OVER∞EASY’. She visited 20 cities inside and out of Japan (with 21 shows in total) and closed the tour with a sold-out show on 8 April 2017 at Zepp Tokyo.
During the tour, it was announced that the theme song of the highly popular game Street Fighter titled ‘Koishisa to Setsunasa to Kokorozuyosa’ (Yearning and Heartache and Reassurance) will be released by May’n for the 30th anniversary of the game on 31 May 2017. The new song can also be enjoyed through Ultra Street Fighter II The Final Challengers on Nintendo Switch™.
Furthermore, the song ‘Go~~rgeous’ by the galactic fairy Sheryl Nome will be released on 26 April 2017. Sheryl Nome is a popular character from Macross F. May’n performs as Sheryl’s singing voice. As part of the 35 year anniversary, a special promotional video of Nome was screened only once on 12 March 2017 in four different places around Tokyo on large-scale screens. The song was also performed as part of the tour.
