Sansha IN Sunshine!(サンシャインで三者IN!), the first episode advance screening event of the TV anime “Sansha San’you” was held at Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro in Tokyo on April 2nd, to enjoy the new show started airing in April with gorgeous guests.
The VA cast of the show, Yuu Wakui (for Youko Nishikawa), Mai Kanazawa (for Futaba Odagiri), and Ayaka Imamura (for Teru Hayama), appeared on the stage and entertained the fans that day.
“Sansha San’you” is a new TV anime based on manga by Cherry Arai, serialized in “Manga Time Kirara” (published by Houbunsha) for over 12 years. It is about the three high school girls who all have “葉 (leaves)” kanji in their names, as 小田切双“葉” (Futaba Odagiri)、“葉”山照 (Teru Hayama)、西川“葉”子 (Youko Nishikawa) and their high school daily life.
The animation is produced by Douga Koubou, known for “Engaged to the Unidentified”, also originally written by Cherry Arai. Knowing the same trusted studio producing this show, fans are feeling higher expectations.
To reflect their high expectations, a number of fans gathered at this advance screening event for the first episode and enjoyed the remarkable cast’s conversation, detailed drawings even with minor characters, and the dedicated direction of the show.
After the screening, VAs of the show, Wakui, Kanazawa and Imamura appeared on the stage. Each of them talked about their own thoughts about the show, and then changed the subject to their triple unit “Triple Feeling”, singing both the opening song and the ending for the show. All three have been currently practicing dancing too, as they said, so we can expect to see them dancing in their future live concerts and events.
Then they talked more about the show, such as the highlights in the future, their favorite characters and so on. At their Q&A session, when asked about any weird happenings while recording, they revealed a terrifying story at one session; when Futaba was recording her voice, she heard someone else’s voice overlapping her. She asked all the staff in the studio, “who has just spoken?”, but nobody had at all.
When the event was about to end after the usual gifts give away, Wakui excited the fans saying “We hope we will get to meet you soon again. Please enjoy the anime as well as our unit singing and dancing!”
Lastly, as the closing to the event, three of them went tossing the phrase of the event title as “at Sun Shine…?”, and the fans all responded with “Sansha IN!” pleasantly.
