According to the official website’s announcement, Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars, broadcasted since July 2016 will end its airing with episode 4. However, they will restart broadcasting it from the first episode on September 1st.
Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars is an original mechanical action animation, produced by Actas, the Japanese anime studio known for several successful animes such as Girls und Panzer. The anime has been broadcasted by TOKYO MX、Sun TV、AT-X、BS Fuji since July 7th and started gainning popularity for its unique concept of pretty girls with robots. The animation, Infinite Stratos’s series director Shin Tosaka was in the directing position and for the cast, the famous voice actresses including Ayane Sakura, Yurika Kubo and Yui Ogura were named. July 28th, the day on which the fourth episode was broadcasted, they announced on their official website and Twitter page that they will end the airing, considering the fourth episode as their last episode. For the reason of this abrupt decision, it is reported to be due to the strong contradiction with their originally intended quality and it has been very difficult to resolve this issue. They are currently planning to restructure their schedules and creation methods over again and deliver even better quality to the audience from September.
While the broadcast and distribution of the anime is ending with the fourth episode, from September it will go on air again on the same channels. In Addition to this, the scheduled release of the Blu-ray and DVDs will be postponed for a month.
