Opening of the voice artist school “P’s Voice Artist School” by PONY CANYON!!
PONY CANYON has started the advertisement of “P’s Voice Artist School” which purpose is to train amateur voice artists into professional voice artists in order to gather their first group of students for the class that will start in October, 2016.
“P’s Voice Artist School” is the school where you can enjoy learning with instructors with various characteristics and through their original curriculum that utilizes PONY CANYON’s accumulated skills and knowledge acquired from producing many anime and artists.
Special instructor Mayumi Tanaka as well as Hiroyuki Shibamoto, Yuriko Fuchizaki and Akio Suyama who are working actively as professional voice artists will be providing the lessons on the basic skills. Also, there are lessons by directors of audiography for popular anime series, that include Hajime Takakuwa, Toshiki Kameyama and Takahiro Enomoto, lessons in the post-recording studio and lessons that use images and scripts for post-recording that have been used for actual animes. All these lessons will brush up your practical skills.
And in order to teach unique skills and knowledge of PONY CANYON that has many first-rated “voice artists”, they regularly hold a voice training and dance lesson.
For those who received good grades at the time of graduation, there would be a chance to receive support during the anime audition and a chance to join “Swallow”, a voice artist office, or “PONY CANYON ARTISTS” an artist management company.
Also, taking part in the anime audition while being a student is one of the selling point of this school.
The lessons at “P’s Voice Artist School” will start in October, 2016 and they have already started advertising in order to gather their first group of students.
Application is due on Friday, August 19th of 2016.

Hiroyuki Shibamoto : anime including “Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ” (Torres), “ “Esper Mami” (Kazuo Takahata) and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” (Raphael), western movie “Fame” (Bruno), NHK “Inai Inai Ba” (Hamigaki man), “Kagaku Daisuki Doyoujuku” (NA), songs for early childhood education, choreography for dances and others
Yuriko Fuchizaki : anime including “Sakura War” (Kohran Li), “Revolutionary Girl Utena” (Anthy Himemiya), “Ojarumaru” (Kazuma) and “Bakusou Kyoudai Let’s & Go” (Retsu Seiba), western movie “Hawaii Five-O” (Abby) and narration works.
Akio Suyama : anime including “Chibi Maruko-chan” (Tsuyoshi Yamane), “Ojarumaru” (Father), “Sakura War” (Ichiro Oogami) and “Kirarin Revolution” (Hiroto Kazama), TV program “Mayonaka no Prince” (narration), stand-in for overseas movies and stages.
Voice training and vocal
Kiyoshi Yasuhara : With 34 years of career as a voice coach. He established “voice studio EEA” after being the instructor at special schools such as MESAR HAUS. He is working as a voice coach for popular singers, artists, voice artists, actors and others.
He is also working as a vocal adviser for recordings and stages.
Kanami Sawaguchi : Working as a dancer, choreographer and dance lesson instructor. She has been working as a choreographer for idols such as Maaya Uchida, SHOW BY ROCK!!, Doll☆Elements and Ange☆Reve, voice actors and anime units.
Mayumi Tanaka : One of Japan’s representative voice artists. Anime including “ONE PIECE” (Luffy), “DRAGON BALL” (Krillin), “Nintama Rantaro” (Kirimaru), “Castle in the Sky” (Pazu) and “Night on the Galactic Railroad” (Giovanni), TV narrations and stages.
Hajime Takakuwa : A director of audiography. Handles many stand-in works and TV anime (mainly “Saiyuki”, “Kingdom”, “Daiya no A Series”, “Spice and Wolf” and “Baby Step”).
Toshiki Kameyama : A director of audiography and the CEO of GROOVE Ltd. As a director of audiography, he has handled many anime (mainly “Hidamari Sketch”, “Sayonara Zetsubou-Sensei”, “Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha” and “Kantai Collection –Kancolle-“). He also handles translation and writing works.
Takahiro Enomoto : A director of audiography. He has handled many anime (mainly “Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora”, “Gonna be the Twin-Tail!!”, “Laughing Under the Clouds” and “Puchimasu! Petit Idolmaster”).
