Even before Square Enix (then Squaresoft) took her beloved Final Fantasy franchise from Nintendo to Sony, they had already marked the hearts of countless JRPG fans with their Mana series. In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Seiken Densetsu franchise, the company is going to release the first three games in a collection on the Nintendo Switch.
The first Seiken Densetsu game, Seiken Densetsu -Final Fantasy Gaiden-, is known in the west as Final Fantasy Adventure. It was released for the Nintendo Game Boy in 1991. A remake called Adventures of Mana was released for PS Vita, iOS, and Android in 2016.
The second game, Seiken Densetsu 2, is most commonly known as Secret of Mana. It was released for the SNES in 1993. The third game, Seiken Densetsu 3, was released in 1995 in Japan only.
To be released in Japan on June 1
