Hello! I am Kitahata, the editor-in-chief at MANGA.TOKYO. I live in Japan and turn press releases from Japanese companies into articles that are easy for those outside of Japan to understand. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me!
Fukkan.com will publish a new edition of Mobile Suit Gundam Gaiden: Hidden Shadow G, in July based on Hajime Yatate’s and Yoshiyuki Tomino’s original creations and Moto Koyama’s (Ozanari Dungeon) designs.
Mobile Suit Gundam Gaiden: Hidden Shadow G was originally serialized in the 1980s and 90s in Bandai’s Cyber Comics, a comic anthology specializing in mecha anime. Many of the pilots are ninja, including the main character, and ninjutsu are used to fight. The story develops seriously, closely resembling former ninja manga. It shows the struggle and loneliness of the Shinobi struggling with death and fighting at the edge of the conflict between Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon.
Those who reserve the book on Fukkan.com will get a postcard with the illustration of the cover as a present. They will also enter a lottery to win one of 30 copies signed by Koyama.
