…and then… we vanished.
Thirty young boys and girls come together when they all join a shady bus tour out of curiosity.
The tour’s destination is a phantom town called Nanakimura, whose very existence is not well-established. Whispered legends about the town say that it is a sort of utopia, where life is unfettered by everyday drudgery.
The thirty individuals ride the tour bus, full of their despair at worldly affairs, boredom of everyday’ life and their desires to start their lives over again.
The bus takes them deep into a mountain wood.
At long last, the 30 arrive at an old hamlet, dilapidated and showing only the faintest signs of having ever been inhabited.
