Koe no Katachi (movie) is scheduled to come out in Japan on September 17. The production company released a long promotional video that includes new scenes.
It includes an impressive scene where the main character, Shouya Ishida and the heroine, Shouko Nishimiya, meet for the first time during their elementary school days. We can also see Shouko’s sister Yuzuru, Shouya’s classmate Tomohiro Nagatsuka as well as his old classmates. The theme song by aiko, Koi wo shitano wa starts, starts playing near the end of the PV, closing the 2:30 long sentimental mood of the movie.
Manga.Tokyo learned a few things about the visitor bonus you can find in the theaters.
The Koe no Katachi Special Book will include the original author Yoshitoki Oima’s newly-drawn comic. This special book has a limited number of copies and the distribution will end when it’s out-of-stock.
A special TV program to commemorate the movie’s release will air on September 15 at TV Shizuoka (On September 16 at TOKYO MX, Nagoya Broadcasting Network, and other channels). In this program, we will see backstage footage from the production as well as a conversation between the cast members. Definitely a must-watch program for all the fans!
