The Monogatari series is author Ishin Nishio’s trademark work, created after Bakemonogatari (2009). Kizumonogatari in particular is is the very origin of the Monogatari series. It has also been adapted into a movie trilogy. The first installment, Tekketsu-hen, was released back on January 8, 2016 and the second part, Nekketsu-hen, was released on August 19, 2016.
Finally, the last part of the trilogy, Kizumonogatari Ⅲ Reiketsu-hen, will finally come out on January 2017. This time, we managed to bring you a new visual, drawn by character designer Hideyuki Morioka. In this new visual, we see heroine Tsubasa Hanekawa sorrowfully standing in the rain under her red umbrella.
