Kagerou Daze -in a day’s- is a Virtual Reality 4D Short Movie (MX4D™) to be released on screen on November 4, 2016 for a limited period of time.
Manga.Tokyo found out about a commercial partnership between Kagerou Daze -in a day’s- and Sony’s High-resolution Audio Headphones, h.ear on™ Wireless NC’MDR-100ABN. The commercial has a comical scene where Ene asks the protagonist Shintaro to get her the headphones.
Kagerou Daze -in a day’s- has its roots in Kagerou Project by the multi-talented creator Jin. It has achieved over a billion video views and its related books circulation has exceeded 8.5 million copies. Kagerou Project‘s very origin is music and it has later been adapted into a novel, a comic and an anime series. It’s an online cultural icon.
The movie will be Japan’s first-ever MX4D™ animation work and Kagerou Project‘s character designer/music video creator Sidu will also be the anime’s director. Considering Kagerou Project‘s forthcoming release of high-resolution music videos, we can see this collaborative commercial as a natural step to its future promotions. We have to agree that the combination between Ene and h.ear on TM Wireless NC’s viridian blue color is amazing. The product’s wireless feature goes perfectly with Ene moving around the screen.
Special Visitor Bonus
A special mini booklet (A5 size) with the character’s newly-designed costumes as well as facial design sketches of the characters from the movie, all drawn by Sidu, will be offered to the first 10,000 visitors!
