In Anime Japan 2016 at Tokyo Big Sight on March 26, 2016 the information on the TV anime, Qualidea Code was released!
The writer’s group, Speakeasy, whose members are Sou Sagara, Koushi Tachibana, and Wataru Watari, created Project Qualidea.
Those three writers share the universe of Qualidea, and published four novels together through Shueisha Dash X Label, Fujimi Fantasia Label, and MF Label J.
Finally, Qualidea will be released as an original anime named “Qualidea Code.” Marvelous, Aniplex, and A-1 Pictures have been working on the animation together. Speakeasy is in charge of editing the story and the script.
This ensemble-cast anime goes in depth on the special powers, school, and aliens of the Qualidea universe.
Additionally, the main theme was created by three popular musicians.
Each artist reflects the atmosphere of the anime as well as sing the main themes:
-Opening theme is by LiSA
-1st Ending Theme is by ClariS
-2nd Ending Theme is by GARNiDELiA
Made her debut as a solo singer in 2011. She has created numerous anime theme songs, and all of her singles rank high. Not only anime fans love her music, but also quite a few rock fans. ClariS is a new-wave retro-futurism band, the members are two girls named Clara and Karen.
In 2010, they made their debut with the single, “irony.” Since then, they created hit singles and albums with many songs ending up in animes. In June 2014 one of the members, Alice, left the group and in November the group had gained a new member named Karen. Claris means bright, shining, clear, or etc. in French. http://www.clarismusic.jp/
A band of two: a female vocalist, Meiria, and a male composer, Toku.
Their debut was in March 2014 with the opening theme of Kill la Kill, “ambiguous.” Their latest album is BiRTHiA, consisting of ARiA, SPiCa, etc. fifteen re-recorded songs of their indie songs. In November 2015, they gave a successful solo live performance at Toyosu PIT. On Tuesday May 3rd, 2016 they will give their fourth concert at Akasaka BLITZ. http://www.garnidelia.com/
These groups working together will be historic in the anime industry.
The TV anime, Qualidea Code, will begin broadcasting in July 2016.
